Help me understand this pls (companion build)

Hi.

I'm doing a companion build. I'm focusing on the companions mainly, but just to have something to do I decided to use Glacial Lance to freeze enemies to support the companions.

The issue is... My glacial lance deals close to the same damage as my companions according to the numbers, but while my companions deal massive damage in practice, my lance deals close to none.
I checked my chance to hit and both PoB2 and PoE2 say I have 100% chance to hit.

It happens with attacks, mostly, with spells I do OK. I don't know if it's bugged or something, because I invested very little in accuracy so it's weird that I have 100% hit chance.

Also, it seems like most support gems barely affect the damage. Same with adding more attack damage from the skill tree.

The only thing that seems to truly enhance my damage is "Inspiring Ally".
