Spirit Allocation Calculation Bug

I believe I am experiencing a bug with my spirit allocation on my character. I have 158 spirit. Right now I have a few skills that use spirit.

Herald of blood - 50 spirit

Companion - 28.2% of spirit. Right now 44

Skeleton Sniper - 37 spirit

Skeleton warrior - 2 free from sceptre and then 1 for 27 spirit.

My issue is that this math works out to 158 but I cant have all of my skills on. Whatever one I turn on last does not actually activate. I am on PS5 Pro. Could this be due to the percentage calculation of the spirit cost of the companion?
