No controller button to open the atlas passive tree

There's no controller button dedicated to opening the atlas passive tree. How do people playing on console even assign points on it?

It's annoying, but you can reach it by opening the Quests tab on the screen and moving the joypad left, as a workaround.

I discovered the issue: I couldn't open the atlas passive tree with a controller because I didn't unlock any of the atlas masters yet. Once I unlocked Hilda and could open the side panel I could get to the atlas tree from there.
