Reversing Runic Ward

Hey there,

I've been enjoying the patch a lot and while during the campaign I could use the Ward Anvil to get ward from my gear, I realised it was free and just kept doing this until now...
Until I realised I am a lvl 90 character who Runeforged each gear I had and now crying in pain because I can't reverse it.

If anyone can figure out news about any reversal coming soon or any news about it that would be great.

I invested lot of time in my gear and I kept going on with the anvil without looking at stat diff because it never changed anything.

Ward doesn't even feel usefull for my build, I'm an attacker so I have nothing to do with it...

For it to be changed it needs to first be recognized as a problem, which is not uh, certain.

It is not a problem. Is writen on anvil info.
But yes... should be a VERY LARGE warning on doing it or a way to remove it!!!

Yes it is. The whole system is a noob trap.

The fact that it only starts taking defensive stats from the gear away at ilvl 55 is extremely obtuse. It's training players to do one thing then punishing them for doing it.

Also, I'm trying to do an Arc build (or even just lightning spells) this season and there's almost no runic spells that support it (Leylines technically does but it's functionally quite terrible unless you had like 3k runic ward). 90% of the damage runes I saw were all physical and attack so... like is there just nothing for spell casters? I'm trying out the one where when you pick up a remnant it explodes but it's also basically useless since the explosion is so small the odds of me being beside an enemy when it goes off are low.

None of this is worth sacrificing any ES for. In fact in a game where defenses are already hard to come by I really question if any of the runic skills are worth it at all because getting enough damage for mapping is usually pretty doable - even on non-meta builds.

Yes, amazing… I farmed currency for three days to make a really good ES body armour, and then I ruined it in a single click because, of course, I had a level 50 armour equipped and I didn’t notice that anything above item level 55 cuts all your stats in half.

Yeah also ruined my gear as well since i was expecting it to be a buff (which it was during the whole campaign) and now have lost nearly all my defensive progress.
