Hollow Form and Kalguuran Supports

For some unknown reason the new support gems this league don't function with hollow form. I am using whirling assault with concussive runes and the runes don't trigger at all. When I use whirling assault with my character and not hollow form the runes trigger on heavy stun which matters because it results in even better clear if this interaction is supposed to be intended.
