Runeseeker "survive expedition encounter" stuck from progression

Fail state seems to be broken, died during the expedition now the quest is unable to be advanced.

I've tried to reset the instance, but stuck on quest "The Runeseeker"

I've been cakewalking through Act 4, and even 2 shot the Act 4 boss, yet those friggin Ants just soaked up the damage and either kept respawing or there were a ton of them.
