Sylvan’s Effigy
|
Not sure what I did, but after changing my old sceptre to sylvan’s effigy, I’m now at 100 spirit from 200… even after changing back to my old sceptre, or even any sceptre. It doesn’t seem like the spirit from the sceptre is being taken into account. Pretty big bug that just made my spirit walker unusable. Though I did have the trusted kinship node equipped, so many that has something to do with it? (I unspecced out of it after realising I couldn’t have more even with sylvan effigy)

Never mind, it fixed itself when I used the ‘Eternal Hunt’ skill

Now there’s a different problem. I’ve fixed the incorrect spirit, but it doesn’t save changes to having active spirits. When I re-set my skill layout and the sylvan’s effigy in the equipment up in the map, I have 3 tame beasts (with 17 spirit leftover), as well as azmerian wolves and bear protector, so 5 companions altogether, but when I enter any maps or change region, it resets back down to 3 companions altogether, it ‘disables’ the other two tamed beasts. This bug is replicable (I don’t have trusted kinship node equipped either).

Okay, I think I’ve figured it out, the problem seems to be with Upwelling (2) support (your minions deal 50% increased damage while you are not on full mana), when slot into the Discipline aura skill granted by Sylvan’s effigy (any aura sceptre I assume would do the same, but can’t really test because no other sceptre allows 3+ companions), seems to put some sort of limit on companions. More specifically there’s a limit on the unique tamed beasts.
Steps to reproduce; 1) equip Sylvan’s effigy 2) test that you have 5 companions (wild bear from ascendancy, azmerian wolf from equipment skill, unique tamed beasts, + two normal tamed beast) 2) slot in an upwelling support 3) watch your tamed beasts disappear, even with no other supports slotted in. |
