BUGS AND FEEDBACK AGAIN

SO FIRST OF ALL THE POINTS....

1)PHANTOM POINTS The skills points from the Ascendancy are counting towards UNUSED Skill points (these are NOT SKILL POINTS missing rather more it does not register/acknowledge you have used Ascendancy points and then tells the player there is "X" amount of skill points left over when there ISNT..

2)IF you refund skill points from SIN Refunding points doesnt not allow you to reallocate skill points in different places other than the places you just took them back from (refunded) to allocate your skill points after this action you have to log out then log back in and it then allows you to use them whereever you want

3)HALLOW PALM There is ZERO points on the skill tree that go with unarmed attacks everything is either Attack,Physical or Quarterstaff near the Monk HOWEVER (AND IM NOT SURE IF THIS PART IS A BUG) but if you take quarterstaff speedx2,Martial Artistry, Quarterstaff Critical damagex2, One with the Storm, BASICALLY THE QUARTERSTAFF SHAPED POINTS NON OF THESE SKILL POINTS contribute to your skills, even thought the description is USE HANDS AS IF HOLDING A QUARTERSTAFF (so what is the point of taking HOLLOW PALM if the quarterstaff points dont count towards the quarterstaff skills?) the choices for this build considering you have to play close quarters all the time is shocking.....

IF YOU TAKE HALLOW PALM ESPECIALLY but this should be for any of the close quarter builds but more so Monk you should get increased damage reduction of some of the following tpyes..... Damage over time, HOW CAN I FIGHT 90% of the bosses when they put degen on and around there own feet making me stand if degens 99% of the time but with little to no way of defending against that sort of effect?.... in the skill tree there is literally one notable.....

at least on POE 1 you had assassin near Leafy shade... .or infact you were able to increase life regen or actually take life.....(i forgot to mention some other points)
Bosses attackingRegardless to you hitting a boss it just does it attack anyways 99% of the time during you attacking then it drags you along the path the boss is trying to take while attacking, making the game look comical like a mobile game.

on this topic as well if you are attacking and the boss is still attacking sure you can roll away..... but the boss follows you and can normally run faster than you can but once you are away from the boss you cant attack (you have hands) so then what? you are just stood there awkwardly with no movement skill to zip back close to the boss... and again having to be close to attack had other issues if i was range or a spell cuck or Minions i can just stand away on low life waiting to help while spamming attack....YET Monk cant do this and feels super squishy

Bosses putting degen all over the floor and especially at there feet..... degens take like 5 seconds to remove.... then once they are removed the boss either walks to you then places degen again... or you go over to attack and the boss ...yes you guessed it goes to degen again.....

sub topic kinda ties in with all this as well running & tripping i dont know if something has been changed or not but the amount of times im trying to run to get into a bosses close quarters to attack and the game like oh wait the boss looked in ur direction.... let me just trip you over so you fall on ur face, slide across the floor to the boss and then the boss gets to just pound you to death before you recover is laughable...

happens way way way too often and happens way way way too much with with mobs and moving around map/areas you can not run for even 1 seconds without letting go of the direction and it instantly skidding like you have just stopped death running from 200 miles a second the skid mechanic after running is diabolical im genuienly shocked that not one single experiences person working or playtesting has not raised this a a concern for how much it impacts a player "falling and tripping"

like i said run for 15 mins straight or 1 seconds the slide is the same and the outcome insta tripped and faceplanted for 5 min until dead from mobs, and bosses so basically the game had no movement especially for close quarter style builds trying to get to boss and such quickly

(and the main reason im really pushing this point home is because you dont allow Life on the tree, regen for life and also MANA LEECH AND REGEN BUT THATS A DIFFERENT TOPIC.....the main reason im pushing on the life point is because if there next to no defences against DoT style damage.... and no life on the tree....and no life regen on the tree.....and you are playing a build that requires you to be close to the boss to hit them..... or stand still channelling it just make the class feel horrid

and ontop of all this as if these factors wasnt enuff on top of this you even have the mechanic that if you die you lose all your things LOOT IS LOST, everything resets and you are punished even further... its just soul destroying experience. i had to end stream because of it because of the way the game made me feel playing it... i regret my purchase this season of a supporter pack... i think this is defo be my last supporter pack for afew seasons now until i need massive improvements and HOPEFULLY some movement skills as well not been able to dart in and dart out of boss attacks especially after the forementioned i wrote, makes not only monk but alot of the builds feel jenky asf

You can allocate points by changing zones or at least what I did was go to the next zone in the campaign to progress and there it worked for me. If you want to know if you have a passive skill or ascendancy skill you should look at the top right side of the skills hud until the passive skill section count bug is fixed.
Cheers for the advice dude, i know when i have passive skill, because when you are playing it will tell you above you skills +1 or whatever if you have a actual skill points as well, it was more to let the devs know what the bug was and why or what was making it indicate there was skill points

and to help others who think they have skill points to use when infact they dont, this is a visual bug only and its caused by the Ascendancy points indicator getting allocated to regular skill points.

So basically you use y9our ascendancy points, and the game doesnt register this and thinks you have points to spend left over
