Cannot level up The Kalguran Gem "Eternal March" using uncut skill gems

Can someone confirm whether it can be leveled up using uncut skill gems so I know whether to report this as a bug?

To anyone who stumbles on this wondering the same, Kalguran gems get upgraded differently later (or much later)

using Thaumaturgic Flux. I only found one in Act 4 in a league encounter although it required less runes combined (3) than the max combined in that encounter (4), so maybe it shows up earlier for other players. By the time it appeared, the kalguran gem had been pretty much useless for a long time, as it couldn't revive any minions at all since they kept leveling up while the gem didn't

So wild to add 20 more currency items to solve a problem that never existed. I'm not sure why they're so addicted to boat between socketables and stuff like this.
