Monk Can’t spend ascendancy points

Please help!

After the first ascendancy trial I got the the points but somehow spent them before the animation on the martial artist ascendancy. I placed points on the Hollow Form branch but wasn’t able to utilize the skill. Additionally a had a persistent bug that displayed I had 2 points to spend on the ascendancy but I already spent them. I had guessed that I couldn’t use the skill because of the Hollow Palm perk. So I attempted to to refund the points and use them elsewhere now I can’t put any points anywhere in the ascendancy tree.
