Abyssal Power Quest not completable

Not sure if I am missing something but i was working my through the Abyssal Power Quest "Close Northern Abyssal Wounds". But the last one in the northern chain didnt spawn an Abyss, I think this lead to the quest no longer beeing completable or am I missing something?

I have the same problem, this quest is stuck
