OK NEW SEASON IS HERE...........AND YET SAME PROBLEMS AS BEFORE
So lets start with the button usage and layout.... is still abysmal. the "New ascendancy" plays and feels like a worse invoker with all the down sides and no upside. EXAMPLE: i unlocked the HOLLOW FORM TECHNIQUE - you cant use ANYTHING thats needs a power charge to power the ability leaving 90% of the Monks ability useless and unusable from the monk (the character type its ment to be used for) EXAMPLE FALLING THUNDER you can use it for sure but it doesnt have any range, any damage, any viability, ICE STRIKE - non - zero damage, same issue your "Astral selfs" do zero damage with it i thought id try the bear and do some "Astral selfs" as a bear zero damage, (because you mentioned being able to use the wolf in the Pre launch videos when showing off Monk build) i have tried allsorts of different build/skills options and guess what.... i put the whirling blades in Hollow form (like you shown in the YT Showcase) and guess what suprise suprise it wiped the floor with everything..... SO Zero build divercity, zero imagination with Hallow form just use the ones GGG shown off... its awful... and boring... its 2 days into league and my eyes are rolling in the back of my head with boredum.... im sorry but this is howits feels. afew weeks ago i stopped playing POE1 after like a 6 weeks pretty must straight, i got lvl 100 and 40/40 challenges and ive turned POE2 off at the end of Act 3...lack of movement skill (proper ones) is making the campaign feel long as F***, walking from area to area for no reason other than to just fill the world up with space ? to make it feel "large i guess"?? bug and other things i have currently 4 skill points i cant use (however i know this is the ascendancy points getting counted as skill points) i have dont 2 ascendancy's and gotten 4 points the exact same amount of points its telling me is available to use... CHARGE STAFF DOESNT ALWAYS WORK - i use charge staff, consume my power charges and then the effect/damage boost doesnt not always apply making your attack feel underwhelming and clearly not doing the correct power output and as it should. playing Invoker you get CRITS IGNORE RESISTANCES - AS WELL AS SPIRIT BASED ON UR EVASION AND ENERGY SHIELD. Playing as Accolade of Chayula you get all sorts of cool chaos interactions and like 30 power charges (kinda) helping with alot of different aspects with that architype to make its tanky and powerful Martial Artist (which is based around hand to hand combat or so its promoted) has limited skills thats interact well with Hallow form, using hands instead of a staff you need to get closer and basically be a close combat fighter and YET monsters regardless to you slamming the crap out for them soon as ur close attack you do not stop or stagger there attack and just plow through everything your throwing at them and constantly hit you, now thats might not seem too bad for bosses or single target but when you have 20 monsters all attacking at the same time u spend more time spamming flasks that you do pressing your attack button And this bring me to another point So i have invested skill points into defences... and this would be nice IF i got gear with defences on BECAUSE YOU HAVE STILL NOT COME TO REALISE HOW IMPORTANT LIFE IS ON THE TREE OR GIVING A DECENT AMMOUNT OF IT ON GEAR you spend most of ur time not upgrading gear because i could have a item with 3 million evasion on it and i still wont take it because it has a 7 to life roll on the item and my other item with no evasion or anything to boost defences as 17 life on it... i have used soooooooo much gold rerolling vendors for a upgraded item because all the ground loot ive came across either bricked or was just crap not erven worth vendoring... my current lvl47 and my item level for my gear is as followed body armour Lvl33 (not long dropped this at the end of act 3) previous item was lvl 12 armour, gloves is lvl 17 (10 life) boots (recently changed at the end of act 3) 18 life lvl 30 item previous item was lvl 8 11 life, my ammy is lvl 4 17 life ive had nothing better drop im going into Act 4 and gear is on its arse..... (this has felt terrible) so other things i noticed when i put the Bear into hollow form you cant put shockwave support into it? why? you have already restricted non channelling skill, or skill thats use power charges..... so what exactly is the build requirements allowed in hallow form...??? it really seems like Hallow form is for whirling Assult or Shattering palm and thats it, also the "slowing down animation while you channelling leaves you wide open to getting swarmed, because your "Astral selfs" dont always go to the monsters closest to you, ive also notices they like to go behind you which is terrible if your walking forward..... so the monsters running at you in front just slam into you... All in all i have to say this is felt like yet another poor POE2 launch, yet another lack luster D4 style "build on rails" update i hate the way the gem system works having to wait for a lvl14 gem before you can actually pick a attack that works... no build diversity, no movement, i honestly cant believe how good and polished POE1 actually feels compaired to POE2 there is alot more i want to post on i have recorded and took screenshots of all sorts of stuff but i just cant be bothers to post it all, this is the main reason ive quit already, just sick to death of having a carrot dangled in front of us to find out its the same old same old play the game and build the way we want what a dull and boring experience oh and another things ive just remembered - Expedition Mechanic - (Runic items) why wasnt there a placement holder for all the League mechanic currency added or implemented into the frag tap? you just have alot of currently league mechanics scraps and such jsut scattered all over you inventory becvause there no real place to hold them Last edited by WarhawkOfficial#9280 on May 30, 2026, 1:10:27 PM Last bumped on May 30, 2026, 12:48:50 PM
