How to use the new in game price check with controller on pc?

I've seen console users say to hold triangle on PS5, but the equivalent button on my xbox controller playing on PC is not it. I don't see anything in the UI to indicate a button for this, and of course the keyboard shortcut doesn't work when playing the controller UI. Surely there's a way to do it with controller on pc... right? Please enlighten my dumb ass.

Maybe that works on console, but with controller on PC, no that's not it. That just drops the item on the ground, whether pressed or held down.

Holding Y worked one time in the very beginning but now it doesn't show up...anyone figure this out yet?

I just figured it out. It *is* Y, but it only seems to work when you're in town.... oof.
