Regarding the new rune crafting system and martial artist

Is there any confirmation about Runic Meridian (martial artist ascendancy node that gives extra augment sockets) + new rune system cannot be exploited this way ?

- Put the new rune (example medved's tending rune in body armour augment socket) in the new augment socket from Runic Meridian
- The martial artist can roll medved's modifier into body armour without having the socket filled with medved's tending rune
- Un-speccing the node will destroy medved's tending rune.

If it does work, it will be fixed as it would be 100% not intended. Those rune are supposed to be balanced around being socket-bounded. So if you could just cheese it that way, it could be flagged as bug exploit. Does it seem worth it ? Absolutely not in my PoV, but you do you. :o

But tbh, I doubt you could use socket bounded rune in this to begin with. Someone who don't know better would use it and their "ascendancy" socket would be locked behind this rune forever ? Nah, no way they let's this happen.

GGG already has methods in place for recovering items lost from passive tree changes, so either they have one ready for this case or it should be easy enough to add one.

When they made the change to jewel socket placement in the tree players could use a /command to get the jewels back. Cant remember what exactly but was something like /reclaimpassivetreejewels

Or they've made it where we cant respec that node while runes are equipped, similar to removing a 'from nothing'/controlled metamorph jewel

Hopefully we dont get a repeat of infernal hellhound destroying supports :x

I certainly hope so that method won't work at all at day 1. Im tired of a mechanic that clearly shouldn't behaves in a certain way (that benefits the player), behaves in that exact certain way, then they fix it AFTER players exploiting the sht out of it, without any consequences to said players.
