Lich's Price of Power and Bonestorm

I'm building a bone lich, and I wonder if Price of Power (Spells Consume a Power Charge If Able to Deal 40% More Damage) works with Bonestorm?

I can't find information anywhere. This node used to specify non-channeling skills, but it doesn't anymore. Instead, it was replaced with the words "if able."

However, Bonestorm itself spends power charges on release for bigger explosions?

Does anyone know if this combo works at all and Bonestorm can benefit from 40% more damage on cast?

Does bonestorm consume one or ALL charges? I can't remember, so If its one, then the interaction should now work. If it's all it should fail.

I'm assuming bonestorms check for power charges would take priority thus the sequencing goes like:

Cast bonestorm > does player have power charges > consumes power charges > casts spell with new effect
With the ascendancy
Cast bonestorm > does player have power charges > consumes power charges > prepares cast > price of power checks for power charges > consumes if available > casts spell with buffed damage

I am not sure of the order of operations, and by the looks of it I will just have to try it out and do some science and report back.

Same question but + spell totems and Ancestral Bond keystone.
Does Bonestorm from totems will consume power charge for explosion and\or for 40% more from Price of Power?

Can confirm, totems get all benefits from the Power Charges and do not consume them
