Way of the Mountain + deflection

"When receiving a hit from an enemy, a stack is removed. If the hit were to deal damage equal or less than 30% of your maximum Life, after damage mitigation but before increased damage taken modifiers such as Shock, the hit will deal 70% less damage."

Where does deflection happen in this chain?

My guess is that all other reductions happen first like armour/deflection/damagereductions and then mountain last to check if you meet the right threshold, because that is when "losing health" part happens.

Pretty sure we already have some info on this. It seems to say it happens after mitigation from Armor and Resistances and Before other damage modifiers, so basically anything that is not armor, Way of The Mountain most likley happens first. Good thing is, it is a 2 point investment so its reasonably easy to check it if it is not clear.

Either way the defensive component of the skill does not seem apealing at all and there are a lot of good nodes in the Martial Artist Tree. It may be worth taking for the 20% more damage buff if it is reasonably easy to keep up. Hollow Focus being always primed for stun is promising with this one as it may give us a way to keep Way of the Mountain Up quite easily.

Resonance and Fist of Stone are pretty much going to be mandatory, Runic Meridians is reasonable and Martial Adept has some great potential as well with the ES Recharge CD. Way of the Mountain will be chosen for the damage buff more than the defensive one.

You get 2 MT per Enemy Power when you Immobilize.
You use 1 MT per attack.

You should be gaining more than you spend as long as you are fairly good at immobilizing.

Decent for attack + defense for mapping.
Not as useful for bosses that don't generate adds.
