Build planner feature and console players treatment
|
It is absolutely abysmal how us console players are treated. This feature doesnt benefit pc players nearly as much as it does console players yet it will not be available for us at launch and will only further put pc players ahead of us. The disparity between the console or controller experience and pc experience must be narrowed. We didnt even have access to the in game trade feature in .3 it didnt happen till .4 because you guys were too dumb to properly design the ui to support us allowing to type text. Like actually give a shit. We paid our 30 dollars yet are treated like second class players. Players you dont want. Yet collectively theres more of us than pc players. Is this how its going to go the entirety of this games life cycle? Were just always gonna get fucked?

" I don't get it, honestly I don't... I do play on console too, I do like to have a cheap UMA machine around for gaming and I do like a protected ecosystem like PSN... I agree that API driven instant price checkers placed us on a terrible disadvantage. Now we have native feature... About the build guide... It doesn't make that difference... If you played PoE1 Mirage, there's still a lot of players in console that can cut through the game like cheese... On PoE2, they will do the same regardless of having a lame feature or not... Why this is important? Because success comes from strategical and mechanical skill alongside with knowledge, not some butt wipe feature that has zero impact on game success if the base pillars aren't understood or dominated. Furthermore, it's sad you don't understand that consoles run on a sandbox, so maybe you should change platform if you want more freedom and stop embarrassing other console users for the lamest reasons possible. Price checkers are implemented, good... Besides that, nothing else is important besides engine tweaks, motion vectors, FRS and SMP scheduling. |

Didn't they say they were making it work exactly like loot filters, so you just click s button to directly import it into the game without needing to access and modify files on your system.

" That is what many of us are looking for, console ecosystem will not allow file injection neither file system access. I still say, Larian Studios made a thing on their mod shop for consoles. That is the kind of feature that would he great for PoE2 too... Would serve both PC and consoles... But most people on console do love to complain, specially when they don't even understand the ecosystem they are a part of and ultimately chose it. |

Well good news then, they did say in the QA explicitly that they were doing that.
Unfortunately I don't know if that means it will be easy for 0.5 launch or if it will come after. But it is coming. |

" Where are you seeing this stat? I'm highly doubtful. |

" he probably went to one of those sites that uses "AI super algorithms" to just guess. there is no official number, nor is there likely ever to be. . . |

as for this thread topic.
this game is PC first, consoles second. to quote Mark: "deal with it" you don't see me complaining that I will have to wait a year or more to get GTA6 on PC after the console release. . . |
