How can I hide the interface?

I have an OLED screen and it’s already starting to burn in. To prevent it from getting worse, are there any options that let me hide the interface? (Mainly HP/Mana)
Adjusting the panel brightness in the settings isn’t really a good solution.
Is there maybe a mod for this?

If there were, using it would risk permanent account closure.

POE 2 Overlay is also embedded in the game files and works in a similar way, but everyone uses it anyway

It's really sad that GGG couldn't care less about people who are really concerned about screen burn-in.

False.

Overlays don't not comingle with or touch game files by default. They could theoretically add code that does something like that, but modifying game files in any way is banable.

The PoE overlays do tend to include macros, which can stimulate keypresses in the game. These are explicitly allowed by GGG as long as a single human action only creates a single game server action. So it's OK for a macro an overlay implements to press the key press to copy an items advanced details when you press the price check macro. Because that performs exactly one game server action. Its also OK to have a macro that types an entire message with one button press, because sending the message itself is the only singular game server action. Same reason the macros to type /hideout /kingsmarch etc are allowed, because sending the command is the only single action.

Removing UI elements would necessarily involve modifying the game files, so it would be bannable.

I suppose you actually could use an overlay that used generative AI to create a fill that covers the UI with its best guess of what's underneath, and that wouldn't be a problem.
you might want to invest in a new monitor that doesn't burn in if you are going to be playing poe

I remember playing Lightning Amazon a few months ago and while spamming the spear, i started to have dead pixels on my screen due to the high blue contrast caused by the skill

This has never ever happened to me , its the first time when I have dead pixels in 20+ years of gaming
Maybe it was caused by my screen, maybe not

But for what is worth, there should have been an option to have the mana/life spheres changed in contrast or color.

wow, dead pixels from spamming that solid...omg

Yes, yes, and yes again—this is absolutely essential for this game... I don't understand why it's so hard to implement. For example, my screen has burned out right in the areas where the mana, energy shield, and health bars are displayed.
