Why is nobody picking Seething Body? The 20s CD on Overheating makes it unplayable.

"The Infernalist class is just too difficult to play. The last effect of the Seething Body ascension skill—'losing Elemental Overlord when reaching maximum Infernal Flame'—is an incredibly awkward debuff. I've tried countless methods, but I just can't find a balance. You have to spam skills constantly to clear maps, but you also have to constantly worry about 'overheating' (hitting max stacks). Overheating means you lose Elemental Overlord and trigger a 20-second cooldown, which feels way too long. The punishment is just too harsh.

It's honestly worse than the support skill 'Arbiter's Combustion' (which grants Elemental Overlord when you ignite an enemy), simply because you don't have to worry about losing Elemental Overlord from overheating.

I sincerely urge the game designers to buff this ascension skill, or at least remove this debuff. Alternatively, you could change it so that you gain Elemental Overlord at 65% stacks, and even if you exceed 100% and lose the buff, it doesn't trigger a cooldown. With this current cooldown penalty, nobody on the entire server is going to choose this ascension skill."

"When the devs work on class balance adjustments, I really think they need to pay more attention to the ascendancy nodes that nobody is picking.

Right now, a lot of ascendancies are like little street mice compared to others—their effects are just so terrible that players wouldn't even give them a second look.

Take the 'Blood Mage' for example. She comes with a massive 15% base spell crit chance AND the precious, rare spell life leech. It's incredibly overpowered. There's a popular saying among us players: 'In the world of spellcasters, you're either a Blood Mage, or you're just cosplaying as one.'"
