Effect of Leech changes on Melee

Hi,

My current Titan hits for 215k damage per hit, which gives me 334 life leeched per second. My skill costs 204 life per second with the Blood Magic keystone. Even with these numbers, I’m struggling to sustain under the new 0.5 leech changes (based on PoB calculations) — and that’s without factoring in any incoming damage.Since you can no longer leech both Life and Mana at the same time, I don’t see the point in splitting the cost between them anymore. You need proper Life leech if you want to stay alive, especially since Life Gain on Kill is unreliable against bosses. This makes Mana leech basically not an option.I’ve been considering dropping the Blood Magic keystone and going for Lavianga’s Spirit + the nearby mana recovery passives on the Warrior side instead. I’m sure there will be solutions in the late game, but I don’t see how this is supposed to work at league start. On the Monk side, I don’t really see good solutions even in the late game.Any ideas? I wanted to league start with Whirling Assault, but at this point it feels like the safe/meta choice is going back to the strong spell totem Oracle build with plants…

I was just talking about this in another thread. The ridiculous mana costs make almost everyone play blood magic and now with leech gutted you are boned. Then they double down and say you cant leech both HP and mana at the same time. IMO the dumbest decision they could have made. The only thing I can think of now is go all out on HP regen instead and drop the leech nodes. Not sure though. I am mainly a warrior player as well so if I do hop in next week I am not sure what to do.
Can someone link to where they say that?
As far as I understand the patch notes, you can't have more than 1 instance of the same type of leech, not more than 1 instance of all types of leeches.

So, it is a lot less leech, but not at the cost of the ability to leech multiple resources.

The English language expertise here is not at its best, both for the person who wrote the patch notes and the players (players' lack of language expertise does not surprise me).
