Better, smarter, harder monsters

Can we get harder monsters to beat? I mean from other ways than just buffing or nerfing player skills. Better AI, variety of monster fighting skills and tactics, things of the like? I can clear this whole game using no uniques and basic, innate, 0 mana cost skills on weapons
