Waystone Crafting in 0.5 + Spirit and Level of Skills on Amulets

I do not understand the purpose of the changes to chaotic omens. Is it to generally increase the cost of map crafting? We now have to use 3 omens to accomplish what we could with 1. This is heading back in the direction of 0.3 map crafting.

I was really hoping to see spirit and level of skills modifiers on amulets changed. Currently the bottleneck for many of my more casual friends as they progress into endgame is the cost of amulets on trade. There are many factors causing this problem that have to do with balance, spirit costs, etc. No matter how you look at it, +3 level of skills and t1 spirit are too meta, and in many cases the spirit and spirit base are required to run a build.

With build guide integration being added in 0.5, I would like to point out that the spirit requirements for amulets does not go well with the way most people progress. Many builds don't have the option to give up some spirit until they can afford a better amulet, that would mean giving up a potentially required skill. I could see an inexperienced player following a guide up until endgame, and quitting when it's time to re-gear because they don't they don't think they can grind for the currency they need to get an amulet.(This happened to my friend on both of his characters, he abandoned the league before hitting t5 maps)

I think that upgrading gear several times throughout the endgame is an enjoyable part of the game, but with spirit costs, you can't really do that. What do you think?
