Mana Is A Trash Attribute To Invest
|
because "life leech from spell" is nerfed, so I tested mana cost based build
then I found out mana is a trash attribute. here is my setting 1. stormweaver, enabled "Force Of Will" which have enhanced "Arcane Surge" 2. 2500 max mana 3. enabled Archmage spirit skill 4. use spark projectile I enabled all "Mana Regeneration Rate/Mana Cost Efficiency" node. but mana is always in short. so mana is not worthy to invest. maybe the problem is: "no matter how high your mana regeneration rate is, the base regenerate amount is too low and the regeneration take effect slowly during one second" I think there should be some "base mana regenerate amount" introduced in passive tree. The mana cost for high level skills is more of an issue. It needs to seriously scale down after level 20.

The issue is that unlike life, it doesn't really have many fun ways to modify and play around it. Or have some sort of scaling.
You can for example use the bloodletting lineage support to make it cost more but get more damage. Which then synergizes a lot with other mechanics. Mana is simply too boring and doesn't have reliable, fun or interesting ways to manipulate it. |

" Curious how much mana regen you had on your gear, there are multiple slots where you can add it, and it looks like it can add up to quite a bit across those multiple items, but from my understanding most people avoided +mana regen on gear. |
