Armour and Evasion on the passive tree

I was wondering if the nodes on passive tree had seen some updates because as far i had read, didn't really see changes too those?

Granted i am happy with buffs to base armor values and what not, but if we still don't have any good nodes to invest into, it doesn't really fix anything. Hybrid armor and evasion would still be bad because if i remembering correctly, it was mention that they were in either conditional or just not that great in the Q & A.

they haven't been giving all the passive tree changes in the patch notes all these last patches so i bet there's more
adding a bit more armor at the top end doesn't resolve the issue that armor has. THe tiny bit of extra health scattered in doesn't help the issue that low life options have without dedicating for WAY less ROI than you'd still get from ES.

Evade+deflect looks like it'll be good until you realize you'll need the league ward to survive RNGesus turning his gaze away from you for a second.

For all the "We were surprised how much defense sucked" talk that happened in the stream, I'm honestly shocked at how little was done to address that and how it's basically just ES nerfs.
Prob useful to remember that existing scaling goes further when the base numbers are increased.

Can get some decent "typical" napkin math numbers I guess.

20% increase buffs @ level 80 gear - tack on t2 (easy to roll) affixes on to the buffed level 80 bases and multiply by 90% increased local (can be higher), 20% more from qual, and again by 350% increased global (seems reasonable to get from the tree + other sources)

Thane Mail (which makes me envision Mike Tyson pronouncing "chain mail")
245ar-->294+117-->411
223ev-->267+107-->374

Blacksteel Gauntlets
87-->104+53-->157
79-->94+46-->140

Blacksteel Sabatons
130-->156+53-->209
119-->142+46-->188

Gladiatorial Helm (name updated to Cassis):
174-->208+65-->273
159-->190+57-->247

total ar/ev:
1050 * 1.9(local mods) * 1.2 (20% qual) * 4.5 (other increases) = 10772ar
949 * 1.9 * 1.2 * 4.5 = 9735ev

Not a bad boost before other things like (buffed)runes, spirit buffs, and conditional increases/additives and I also didn't include any flat values from jewelry or shields.

I think the SorcWard nerf will end up being just fine since ward also applies to phys/chaos and we'll see how runic ward fits into it all.

I bet it'll feel pretty good even though the tree nodes didn't get any changes.

Who am I to say anything, I don't respect my time either.
