DNS Servers

What DNS servers are you using? It takes me up to 45 minutes to login sometimes due to login server disconnections. Just trying to figure crap out.

" From my experience, it depends more on what scalling you have (nis/nvidia reflex/intel etc) and if you have 'engine multithreading' enabled for the CPU in teh graphics settings or not I personally run POE 2 on this laptop: GPU: RTX 5060 CPU: intel i7-13700hx RAM: 32GB DDR5 Storage: 1TB M2 SSD Network: 10 GBps (divided by 0.8 bits/s results a total speed of 1,250 MB/s Download on average ) OS: Windows 11 25H2 I use an RJ45 CAT 6 cable plugged in directly into my laptop I get constant loading screens when I login for the first time , sometimes even when I load maps for several maps straight It's an issue with their servers and the game optimization for sure. I reject every narrative with 'it's a local issue on your side' or something that where somebody says in defense of GGG's servers and the game client. I don't think it's worth mentioning this, but I live in an urban central area next to the headquarters of an ISP and I have the highest network package that money can buy in my country and I have a mid gaming laptop This is definitely an issue with either GGG's servers or with the client itself. Having changed the Scalling from nVidia Reflex to NIS and enabling the multithreading in the graphics settings has helped a bit But I still get constant loading screens and occasional crashes I just hope that with update 0.5 the performance will be better Last edited by ArdeleanuG#2185 on May 22, 2026, 6:45:47 AM

My issues are just when trying to connect.
> Connecting to login server... > An unexpected disconnection occurred Once in, aside for the occasional dc's, it plays fine for the most part. |

He didn't ask for the specs of your rig (which, by the way, is a complete dumpster fire; that's nothing to be proud of). He asked what DNS servers everyone is using. Did you not understand what he was asking? Well, you're not really important here—what's important is answering his question.
In my personal experience, most people would say Google's 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 are the predominant winners. There is a twofold issue with this, though. Yes, Google has the largest servicing pool regarding both infrastructure and zoning, but that leads directly to the second issue: massive congestion from so many connections and cycles of utilization. Depending on your risk appetite and level of network security knowledge (mine is quite extensive), many prefer Cloudflare and their 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 resolvers. Depending on your network architecture—whether your routing is handled by a modern fiber-optic gateway or (dear God, I pity you if you still rely on this) a legacy broadband router—you might need to adjust your port forwarding and routing tables to avoid routing conflicts. I personally stick with Cloudflare. Now, back to the PC spec guy: upgrade that GPU. It's RTX 5090 or bust. Upgrade that processor; it's Threadripper or bust. Upgrade that RAM; 64GB is the bare minimum, or bust. And get a much better motherboard and cooling system (I looked up your system). You have a standard fan-based cooler. Unless you swapped it out for a custom liquid loop or liquid nitrogen (LN2) cooling—and given your comment, I doubt you have the knowledge base to do that, so I'm going to assume it's still on air—your rig is struggling. What you have right now cannot even run PoE 2 on high settings consistently. Your rig (not trolling, just truth) is literally from circa 2022. It is outdated in several aspects and cannot run 70% of the modern games on the market at anything above medium settings. You aren't really in a place to give anyone technical support advice if that is what you're sitting on. Hope my networking and DNS advice helps you, OP.
