Please make Path of Exile 2 truly great, and help GGG earn more profit.

For the target audience of PoE2, including myself, most of us love PoE2 more than Diablo 4 — because PoE2's gameplay is far better. But yet I've spent significantly more money on Diablo 4's cosmetic shop than on PoE2. Know why?

Let me put it this way: Diablo 4's character visuals are just superior. Even just opening the character selection screen in D4 gives me a kind of brain-tingling thrill. Look at those beautiful character models, paired with cool idle animations. I can also customize my character's gender and appearance. That character is exactly the avatar I want to be in the game — I can fully immerse myself in that role. Of course I'm willing to spend money on outfits for that character.

But in our great PoE2 — which has everything else better, and whose entire monetization model is selling cosmetics — you've locked down character appearance completely. No customization at all. Not even gender choice. Trust me, this is the stupidest decision you've made.

My suggestion: Allow gender and appearance customization. At the very least, let all existing character models be usable with any class. For example, let me play a Warrior using the Monk's model. And don't tell me you're afraid of losing those Ascendancy class splash arts — those didn't cost much anyway, right?
