Trigger Spell & Attack Skills?

Is there a way to be able to trigger attack and spell gems as one? I was going to try a build idea but realised cast on crit or aliment only work for spell gems not attack gems?

Anyone know a work around or just not possible?

You can't really trigger an attack. The game would have to automatically move your character to do this said attack at that location. An attack is like using your body to do it, a spell is like some magic shit that happens at whatever location you want.

Triggered (counter)attacks exist only in Path of Exile 1.
