2nd player controller auto animate skill?

in poe2 since there is an option to have 2 players, is there a way to add like an animate 2nd player skill so you can login with two characters while playing with just one player. the second player character can have follow and auto attack skills like back in the Mercenaries league of poe1 where you can hire a mercenary to follow you around.

N̈o. Not without some kind of cheats. That's explicitly against ToS.

game already allow two players co-op. Mercenaries league already allow second character. the framework is there. its just like mirage archer skill or animate weapon skill. game already allow for party invite for 6 character co-op. this wouldn't be agaisnt anything, just add another feature to allow having another one of your characters as a backup help when playing in single player mode.

1. would allow you to level up a character without playing that character
2. would allow you to collect more loot from party play
3. would allow your secondary character to aura buff your primary character

Those are just quick thoughts. You don't think this would cheapen the experience? You don't think this would give an unfair advantage?

I couldn't ever see this as being a good change.
