Hollow Palm

Okay, am I the only one who enjoys the whole concept of unarmed combat even if it does nerf your build to a degree?
The whole "I don't have a weapon" thing doesn't bother me as much as the scaling does, to play with Hollow Palm is so annoying through mid game, I've put some hours in lately to try and get it rolling (tried doing it in SSF) and holy hell this is miserable.
The DPS is not there (at the point I am at right now, every other build on any other toon would be crushing ubers while I'm here twidling my thumbs), the drop rate of currency feels so bad (I am unable to try to craft anything atm due to that), could be just my bad RNG (never had any luck in drops tbh), but making a decent unarmed monk seems almost impossible to someone of my skill level atm.
Even when I tried looking up what people are doing to make it work, I have found a single build that does some good damage and I'm thinking even that person is not cruising through maps and other content either compared to people who are using staves.
What's the point of the node? Is it there just to give us an easier time in campaign? I don't get it, if I wanted to play with a QS I would, I just wanna Break Stuff (iykyk)..
Especially now when we have Facebreaker coming I don't really see the node being all that viable, unless we get some major powerup with the item + the ascendancy node Way of the Stone Fist.
The nodes in the new ascendancy that I've seen so far don't really seem to do much for the playstyle and remind me kinda of the monk from Diablo 3 with your "minions" running around doing damage around you.
I wanna be able to play the toon and bash someone's face in (without having to use Facebreaker), not stand around while my ads do the job for me.
Work on it, make it scale better, revert it, do something.
Especially considering you need the + to levels to make it more powerful, it feels terrible right now.
