Snapshot and buff mechanics

I know that weapon swapping snapshots the effects of the passive tree and equipment slots. However, does it snapshot buffs?

e.g. I cast firestorm from weapon group 2, swap to weapon group 1 and obtain Elemental Archon. Do the ongoing hits from firestorm benefit from the archon buff?

Nevermind, I tested it in game. Snapshot does include buffs; ongoing effects like firestorm will not benefit from picking up new buffs after their cast.
