One attempt with Djinn of Barya is dumb

That's it. To spend time on something as core as ascendancy and get one shot with 95% honor feels bad and is bad design.

As frustrating as this is, I do agree that honor takes too big of hits especially early...
The % of honor means nothing. It is all about the total value. Honor resist is a must. Then stack as much of it as you can. |
" stack honour resist relics, you might have to do a couple of runs to collect them first |
" Which is rather silly when you think about it. You have to prepare to get your ascendancy points by running the exact same content that gives you your ascendancy points. A really easy way to make Sekhema's a hell of a lot more tolerable to 90% of players: Remove honour resistance as a mechanic entirely and re-balance. |
" I wouldn't mind a rebalance or big changes, something fresh is always good, so long as they don't make it too easy or dumbed down |
" You have infinite attempts with the first. Only any after that will have you get cancled if you die. The same for chaos trials. The thing is, if you get actually basic relics in this time, you cannot really get one shot, since you would have a honour resistance of at least 60 - 70% which mitigates most of the damage you could get int there except of the one shot mechanic of the last boss which you have to understand. |
