Accuracy for spells

Why don’t mages need accuracy to throw fireballs from their hands while everyone else does?
It’s a huge imbalance that even carried over into the sequel.
Either remove this stat entirely or make spells affected by accuracy too.

Do you really want to spend passive nodes on accuracy? Be happy that you can instead focus on area of effect or damage.

No. I don't want аccuracy to be required for attacks either.
Accuracy is a vestige that must disappear.

Don`t fireballs have magic autoaim? I always thought so.

Now seriously - weapons without acc feels like an odd concept. Just as spells with accuracy. It could work for selected "aimy" and "slowy" type of spells like fireballs but i don`t imagine lightning bolt to need accuracy, not to mention any aoe-ish spells.

Imbalance weapon/melee vs casters is much wider topic than accuracy itself. In d2 it was addressed by monster immunities, since poe2 inspires so much from it i would assume there are res tables more favorable toward phys or something similar. I might be wrong tho.
