limit allied special effects in multiplayer

Hey guys, there's something you badly need to do and all my friends on discord agree:
A system setting to limit allied special effects in multiplayer. I know everyone wants to feel powerful, but if you have 2-3 powerful players playing, not only can you often not see what you're doing, you can lag even higher end systems. Have a way to set: "reduced allied effects". You would still see your allies casting spells and attack and what not, but all skills would have a "low noise" version with less distracting effects (less bright, smaller projectiles size, translucent effects, etc) Last bumped on May 20, 2026, 2:44:30 AM

Two slide bars: One for opacity of Party members VFX. Second for your own. Combat Balance > Feelings

Another idea is having a toggle for each player. If there were a particular member of the party whose effects were more the offender, *cough-druid* *cough*, you could switch down just that one player.
