PoE 2 Key

Hello, I purchased a POE 2 Early Access key some time ago. Now I purchased a package that was also supposed to include a key, but I didn't receive it.

You do want to give your friend a key that shows up as either;

• "+1 Path of Exile 2 Early Access Key", or
• "Path of Exile 2 Early Access Key"

Either of those can be redeemed by your friend here: https://www.pathofexile.com/shop/redeem-key

If they want to use a different client on PC (e.g. Steam), they can go to the same page up above which you initially went to in order to find the key to give to your friend, and it will give them a key which doess not include a license to use to add the game to their library on that platform.


You do not want to give your friend either;

• "Path of Exile 2 Steam Client" code, or
• "Path of Exile 2 Epic Client" code

Those just add the game to their Steam or Epic Games libraries - but if your friend uses one of those, once they've downloaded the game and log in, GGG's authentication server will throw an error message about their Path of Exile account not having a Path of Exile 2 Early Access license.

So if your friend wants to play on Steam or Epic Games, give them the Early Access Key, tell them to redeem it on GGG's website, and then go to https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access for a code which will allow them to download and play the game on Steam or Epic Games.

I only have an old key I used up 6 months ago and a Steam/Epic Games key. I don't have an extra one.
