Visual Clarity
|
Please do something about visual clarity! Or at least give us the option to turn down effects or such. It looks nice, but there is so much clutter on the screen it can be really hard to see whats going on.

" They will never give an option to tone down visual effects, they sell extra visual effects. They want people to see them. There are projects like poeNullEffects, which you can search on Google. Unfortunately the only way I know to get visual clarity is to play solo and use a build that doesn't have a lot of visual effects, or try something like that. |

That is why I liked the idea of melee classes in PoE2 to escape the visual clutter. Turns out it's just an idea, because the developers decided melee skills should also explode and clear entire screens anyway. You can’t avoid the blindness.

Reap was my go to last league when I couldn't handle the spell spam any more. Was surprised I could drop everything else and just reap + trample to clear with no issues at all. A bit dull, but nice and clean.

" I would pay for toned down visual effects. |

" I know, so would many. But they'd be paying for that one thing. GGG has said no to that. They want you to see all the new nifty effects they make in the hopes you'll buy one of those. Turning down particle density and removing the visuals from some effects isn't difficult. Tons of games give options for that, and Mods exist to do it for even more... including this one. But since GGG does not want you to not see their shiny new MTX visual effects they consider that evil haxorzing and using things to accomplish it comes with a ban risk. |

I think they don't have time to refine this over demand issue, yet.
