Around 25 new skills and all of them are tied to a unique

I feel like the current trend of just releasing new actives skills tied to unique is limiting the options a lot, there are some skills that are unique enough to be gated behind them, but others shouldn't, i.e. spiraling conspiracy and rite of restoration could have been easily a normal skill.
Currently there are so little options in the active skills pool and a lot of them are designed with a combo mindset, so you have to use the same skills that are assign for single target, the ones that are assign for clearing and utility. It really feels like an easy and faster way of the devs to get skills out without worrying much about balancing by limiting the skills to unique, but I wonder if eventually we will be getting them outside of the unique form. Last patch actives skills were mostly for the druid architype, but the rest of the classes feels like they haven't gotten any actives skill since 0.1, maybe each skill color have gotten like 2 or 3 new active skill gems, the rest have been in unique or ascendency classes. I really hope it is just a temporary solution to get content fast and easy but for now I don't feel I am getting new content to play regarding skills with for me is the most fun, I don't have having to play the old endgame if I have new skills to try out. A lot of them are designed with a combo mindset and they stopped building the game to play that way. There's no real need or benefit to trying to chain skills into combos, and it slows you down, causes enemies to stick around longer and so makes you more likely to take damage or die. Pretty much all the combo skills are just dead skills at the moment.

But we are getting 25 kalguuran skills that are exactly what you seem to be asking for? (not attached to any weapon type / unique. but requires ward)

ok, and?
new skills are generally gonna be tied to classes and weapons. we didnt get a new class or weapon (aside from the grenade launcher). we did get a bunch of uniques, which is nice. companies really need to make people do some sort of test to be allowed in early access games. :D
