Manifest Weapon + Brutus Lead Sprinkler

This is all assuming our MW has the players strength VIA the passive notable.

Am I wrong to assume that MW (Manifest Weapon), when copying Brutus and then triggering Molten Shower...that its triggering of Molten Shower is using same support gems linked to the players Molten Shower...since its a literal copy of said weapon? Or would its Molten Shower be a skill with no supports.

This remains unclear, I could not find any explicit or implicit mention of this in any wiki, database or in-game.
Especially since its not a regular energy-based trigger interaction, and since it would require investment in the passive tree to even function.
