Campaign work around i think would benifit new and existing players.

A lot of my friends dont want to play POE2 because they just dont want to replay the campaign over and over again.
So I've devised a middle ground that still validates the campaign, but also entices newer players to return. You must complete the campaign on at least one character and reach level 75. This does not fully let players “skip” the campaign, but it unlocks the End Game system for all future characters in that league. New characters would gain immediate access to End Game content up to Tier 3 maps. Once the character reaches level 65 — roughly the level players should be after finishing the interludes — the remaining map tiers unlock progressively up to Tier 8. However, players would still need to return to the campaign to collect permanent rewards such as: Passive skill points Spirit upgrades Quest rewards Other character power unlocks This system gives players two valid progression paths: Have friends carry you through maps to level quickly. Play through the campaign normally while leveling solo. That creates flexibility without completely invalidating the campaign. This should reset every league so progression still matters at the start of a new season. Additionally, unlocking Tier 9 to Tier 15 maps, should require killing all Act bosses at least once on that character. ______________________________________________________________________________ This system would be a strong middle ground for Path of Exile 2 because it keeps the campaign relevant while reducing replay fatigue for alternate characters. Players would still need to: Complete the campaign once Earn permanent rewards like passive points and spirit upgrades Defeat Act bosses to fully unlock endgame progression At the same time, it gives experienced players more freedom by allowing early access to mapping and alternative leveling paths. The tiered unlock system also helps prevent players from instantly jumping into the highest-end content, which keeps progression pacing healthier for leagues and the economy. Overall, it respects both sides: Players who enjoy campaign progression Players tired of replaying the full campaign every character Last bumped on May 14, 2026, 11:05:15 AM
