Keep and expand upon interludes for additional characters

In my mind it’s simple:

After completing the campaign, the player can start a new character and play only through 6 acts of “interludes”. They should be very hard and be balanced around endgame gear and endgame skills.

This sounds like a no brainer to me. Am I missing something?
