TEMPLE SNAKE 0.5
|
I enjoy building long snakes, that take me while to build up, i dont even like running the temple itself, i just like building it.
Why GGG is removing that. Instead they could just nerf the % of loot it drops to ground and let ppl who like building to build. Last bumped on May 13, 2026, 9:54:26 PM

Because snakes are a lot of effort to build, and if they nerf them there would either be no reason to build them or the baseline temple loot would be terrible. As long as there is a possibility of such structures that chain the best rooms youll get some kind of non-balanceable temple. Only other solution would be single run temples (build it by doing maps -> run it once) which could then still have high rewards since they are not permanent

I just dont want to lose the ability to reasonably get experience. I dont care about the loot. The grind to level 100 is fairly ridiculous and temple solved. it.

" I didnt abuse the unintended mechanic in the game but what made it hard if you could just reset and be back in within a few seconds each time until it was built? |
|
" Because it was absolutely broken and crashed the economy. " No, they couldn't. Systems in this game are interconnected, they couldn't have left the option to stack rooms ad infinitum without severely nerfing their bonuses, which would in turn render them absolutely pointless to run in normal play. |
|
" Temple is absolute cancer for the game. If exp grind is an issue to get to level 100, it should be addressed differently. |

they should nerf the crap out of temple. otherwise whats the point of running waystones with breach or abyss etc? temple is 100 times more rewarding than anything else and makes mapping irrelevant
