How do I equip a character skin?

I bought a character skin (not armor) and it did not show up in my cosmetics. I also bought a vanishing dye fir my helmet and it was there. Does the skin auto-equip undbmy armor, in which case I would need to use a vanishing dye on my equipped armour? I was able to return the items, but ai like them, so a definite answer woul be awesome. Thanks.

There's an entire section for cosmetics in the inventory that controls all your gear mtx and character effects.

I understand that. The skin wasnt there.

Are you sure that particular skin is available in POE2 yet?
