We want this feature BACK in HC

We want to be able to pause the game and have the option to respawn at check point. I am a hardcore enjoyer. There is something about slowing down and adopting the HC mindset to the game that is really satisfying to me. I've been yet to get into hardcore as I felt the game was not in the best place for it yet. But it the campaign at least seems to feel pretty good to me now. When the game first came out, mobs were a lot stronger.

Anyways. To my point. We want the respawn at checkpoint feature back in hardcore. I understand this is considered cheesy to some. But honestly, who cares? We can still pause the game. What happens if we logout for 15-20 mins? Do we still spawn back into the boss fight? I dont actually know. BUT I will if it means not losing my hardcore character.

I dont feel like there should be any shame at all in starting a boss fight that is hitting you a bit too hard or you fly through your healing potions a bit too fast and realizing youre not going to get it and so you respawn at checkpoint and restart the fight. Why is that so bad?! Hardcore is such a commitment and mindset and such a fun way of experiencing the game. I dont think im alone in wanting it back.

You guys also made it so logout macros dont work, but that sucks! PoE1 still has it... so we should have it too. PoE2 is much more rippy than PoE1. The bosses have all sorts of 1 shot stuff. It makes more sense to have it in PoE2. Thats my 2 cents. I want respawn at checkpoint to come back to hardcore. It's better with it. It really is. You still eventually need to commit to the fight and beat it. Who really cares if you have to restart it a couple times cause youve used all ur flask?! Is that really how you want to lose characters?! I dont like dying this way. We should be able to determine we bit off more than we can chew with a fight be able to back out of it without dying. You walked into the boss room and now you HAVE to fight the boss really sucks. It does. IT does suck. The game on hardcore is better with that bail out feature available to us.
