PoE 1 Next League date?

When can we expect the next league for poe1?
inb4 just play 2 bla bla. I do but i don't really enjoy it. I had a good discussion with a mate about what it is about 2 that it just feels off and he feels the same and we came to the conclusion it is the slowness of everything in 2 it feels like you are playing on a high latency server. I like 2 for what it is but it just does not feel good for me, its like playing a FPS at 20 frames; at least i think that is what it is. I get bored of 2 really quick and would love to see some more love put into 1; like maybe when ggg update either game they release a temp league like exiles everywhere or something like that with whatever the league mechanic is. ggg should have just called 2 by a different name and all the fanbois would not get so upset from someones opinion and stop comparing 1 to 2 and vice versa no? Why do you bring up poe 2? Just play Mirage until they announce the date.
