This is my feedback and what bothers me

I feel like I just die too much in the game. I can't stand it. I get ALL the resistances, get lots of armor and evasion... and I like can complete a map with 6 mods on it without just dying and losing it.
Well what mods are you doing? I dont care about that. It's a Tier 4 map.. I have no clue what's safe to run, what I should be running. What tier I should be playing. I'm like having all these mana issues now and stuff. I press pounce 1 time and have to drink a mana potion to be able to cast my next spell. It just feels terrible and I had to drop a bunch of damage nodes to pick up mana nodes so now I can press pounce 2 times and then drink a mana potion. Oh a 30% mana regen node, cool But it's 30% of ur base and ur base is 3 mana per second and now it went up to 4 mana per second. Grab 9 of those nodes and get it up 6 mana per second! It just feels bad, man. I wish I had a better explaination for you but if ur curious what makes me get ticked off and just close out of the game and go do something else. It fking dying in a t4 map with 5 mods on. Yes I am using my precursor tablets and they are buffing them more. But this stuff shought be beatable!!!! Like how do you play the endgame and not just die literally every other map? I'm tired of defenses sucking. I'm tired of these trivial mana problems I'm having... like let me cast my spells!!! Does it have to be so egregious that I have to tap my mana drink button every 2 seconds? The mana effect could never go away and I'd keep it spent... I'm spending that much mana. But im not doing anythign special... I'm playing the druid and using the abilities the game basically makes you use right now. This is what sucks about the druid too is that ive never seen a class with such like directed gameplay. Like Poe is suppose to be this hugely customizable game but if you play a werewolf druid right now, you ALL use the exact same abilities. You just fill ur bars with every werewolf ability in the game gives to you and that is basically ur build... and everyone is doing the same build. What it means is that there is mathamatically a best build in the game for werewolfs. There are talents that you SHOULD be running. I was trying to do something I thought was new and cool. I wanted to make a like necrodruid that uses scepters. And not only have wolf pack fighting with me, but also have some skeletal mages with me. I found this awesome talent point that lets me equip scepters in my off hand WITH a talisman... super cool, right?! And then as part of the talent it takes MOST of ur spirit away. So instead of having 9 skeletal mages with me as I had envisioned... I only get 2. Now im in the endgame and I got it up to 4. So it's also like downsides that are WAY to heavy on some stuff. Completely ruins the fun of it for me. I'm going to keep playing. I do love the game. I just wish I could get my endgame progression feeling more like my campaign progression... where im not just getting destroyed and killed and losing my portals. The campaign feels great. I dont get it the endgame though, but I really WANT to get it. I never kill anything meaningful in the game. But like I play PoE1 on hardcore and do just fine. PoE1 feels alot more fleshed out and balanced properly, I guess. I just dont have the same issues over there. I would never dream of playing PoE2 on hardcore. Atziri will still kill me like 30 times with 1 shots. It never mattered how defensive I build my character, a 1 shot is a 1 shot and it doesnt care. Is what it is, I guess. Those are my complaints. We do have a bunch of season mechanics coming so hopefully they will start providing solutions to my problems. Like I cant grind 10 levels in the endgame to fix mana issues through points, I have to rebuild... which means losing damage elsewhere. Need more solutions to problems that are actually going to be effective. Like a rune that increases my BASE mana regen. So I got a talent point that increases my mana regen by 30% of 3... and so it becomes 4. But give me something that increases the base to 10 and that 30% now becomes 3 and I get 13 mana regen. Stuff like this that I can ACTUALLY figure out and solve problems. And I really hope there are still 100's if not 1000's more gems coming to the game.. cause im not trying to see every werewold running the same only 5 abilities in the game that a werewolf can use. It's way too like scripted, for lack of better words, like this is exactly how you want all druids to play. And for what it's worth, Act 3 is boring. And here is a solution. During act 3 we get a token and a quest to find the Temple of Chaos and we can run it and get ascendacy points 3 and 4. The PROBLEM is that the Temple of Chaos sucks. Its extremely rippy for hardcore characters and softcore characters still dont do it because it sucks. Just flat out isnt very fun and is too rippy. Act 3 would be funner if most people were getting those points right around Atziri fight. You can also introduce another seasonal mechanic somewhere in here and people get a little taste of it's crafting and the sorts of upgrades it will bring for them. Not everyone will get an upgrade persay but it's just something to change the flow and keep the game interesting. It just gets boring and starts dragging out in act3 around Atziri... and the prolong sucks too but that will be going away soon so I can just deal with it there. I'm still playing and trying to figure the game out. I understand that im trying to bite off more than my character can chew, I guess my complaint is really that there is no way of telling what that limit is without just dying. I'd LOVE to play hardcore and is actually how I prefer the game. But dying needs to be an extreme rarity for that to happen. I can only die 1-3 times in a season on hardcore. That is asking a lot in PoE2 when these bosses are actually fun and will actually kill you lol I dont know if any of this is helpful at all. But I just wanted to let you know what is making me rage quit the game. What makes me just close out of this game and go do something else. It's dying. I can't stand it. It doesnt mean I dont think there should be challenge in the game, I just think it should be spread out further I guess. But also, would I feel better if I was dying on juiced Tier 9 or 15 maps, compared to my juiced tier 4 map? I'm wearing a headhunter and have rakiata's flow equipped. And I'm fully resistance capped. Is a juiced T4 map really out of the question for me? Is it cause im level 76? I just wish there was no question on rather or not I was going to go into a map that was going to kill me. It's always during like the abyss or breach in my map too. It's like the mobs from the precursor tablet dont match the strength of the map that im running. THAT'S what it is 1000%. It's ALWAYS during a seasonal mechanic im running in my map. I kill the regular mobs on the T4 map just fine, then I run into the abyss monsters on the map and they are 10x stronger and harder... but they should be matching the map difficulty. There is a disconnect there. From map tier monsters to seasonal mechanic monsters. That's how you fix it. Last bumped on May 12, 2026, 4:25:05 PM

Just a few points:
-Being "resistance capped" means nothing if I understand you correctly and you mean 75%. Thats the baseline. Think of it as 0% elemental damage reduction -Without seeing your character its hard to diagnose what the issue is exactly. But the tools to not die already exist in the game, you just have to use them. It sounds like youre using armour and evasion which is a defensive type thats currently just very badly supported so I would do something else. To fix mana on attack builds you usually go for mana leech, which is a very effective solution for this problem youre having. -Learning what mods to avoid on maps and tablets takes some time but thats how poe works. There is no difficulty slider except for maybe t1-t16 map progression. With the way its designed you can easily end up creating situations that are too difficult for most characters to handle and have to pay attention to avoid those. Sometimes there are also just very overtuned mods that exist (Abyss tablets: "Monsters have increased difficulty for each pit opened" is notorious for this) -Why are you trying to put so many mods on tier 4 maps ? Youre only level 76. If youre dying often you should run easier maps and level up first. -Regarding the wolf skills issue about every build feeling the same: I see people bring this up often but I think its not that valid criticism. Youre basically looking at a small subsection of skills from one weapon type (1 out of 12 total) and hold it up to a standard of something way bigger, as if it was a whole class on its own ("wolf druid") that should be able to support many different builds. Dont get me wrong it'd be nice if ggg added 2-3 more wolf skills that allow for different builds and I think thats likely to happen at some point, but the standard applied here is too high I feel like. -If you want a recommendation to play something extremely tanky, play witchhunter with full evasion gear + the 2 sorcery ward ascendancy nodes.
