- You wanna do Pinnacle Bosses without much tryhard?
- You wanna skip a lot of reapeated attacks from Pinnacle Bosses?
- You hate memory games of Maven?
- You wanna see how Life bar of enemy falling to 0 in ridiculous rate?
Then it's Build exactly for you my friend!


Also why Scorching Ray Totems? Cuz it has absolutely crazy damage and when they ramp up, Boss is destroyed. Totems style allows us placement Totems and then focus for avoid attacks. Also we don't play low life or anything with style 100% offensive, 0% defense - it's enough defense to have time to placement Totems and then repositioning them. It's super funny and have a great potential.

BUILD RATING

There is rating points of Build:

1) Clear Speed - This isn't mapper Build, cuz it's so slow and painful, average defence can be annoying. Remember we are mostly focus on Damage

2) Single Target ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - It just annihilates Boss

3) Defense ⭐⭐⭐ - Average tanky, but enough to get time for summoning max Totems and stay alive, even you can handle some attacks from Pinnacle Bosses. Although vulnerable for physical damage due to low Armour

4) Mana Management EASY 🌀 - We won't spamming Totems too much, so you don't any specific Auras for that, Tree + Ascendancy is enough

5) Difficulty EASY 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ - Build is beginner friendly and easy, but need a bit clicking. You just place Totems on Boss, then run and avoid everything

6) Price VERY CHEAP 💰 - With around 200 Chaos you can already create a monster, but of course with up to 300 chaos you can significantly increase Damage

WHAT I NEED TO START PLAYING THIS BUILD?

For level (check LEVELING section):
- I recommend start playing it from around 90 lvl to maximize Damage.

You need 4 Uniques for playing: Body Armour, Ring, Amulet and Boots.

Based on prices around one - two week after league start (NOTE! It's very approximately cuz it's depends on current league)

Generally with around 200 chaos you should reach easily 3M-3.5M+ DPS and you can start destroying Pinnacle Bosses and Guardian Maps. With a bit more investment like 200-300 chaos you can reach 4+M DPS.

In this league we can add 6th Support 1 lvl to Gem 20 lvl, you need one of the coins (every 1 of 3 add other color gems).

Generally we have option from these: Infused Channelling or Efficacy.

But if you have 21 lvl of skill gem, you cannot use coin on that. Better Damage is 20 lvl + Imbued, but can be hard to get or expensive to buy, so I prefer just 21 lvl.

BODY ARMOUR + UNIQUE JEWEL

Great mods for Totems with 7L, but downside is we get Curses on us.



Although while Soul Mantle apply Curses to us, we can easily take advantage from it with using Self-Flagellation Jewel and we have extra Damage per Curse.

STACKING NUMBERS OF TOTEMS

We are playing Scorching Ray Totems like main Damage and also Searing Bond Totems for boost Life regen, Mana regen and Damage. How to get more Totems?

Main = Scorching Ray (in aggregate 4 Totems):
- 1x on Start
- 1x from Ancestral Bond Keystone
- 1x from Ascendancy
- 1x from Shield


Single Target Boost = Searing Bond (in aggregate 5 Totems). We have already combo from Ancestral Bond + Ascendancy Node), but we need on that setup yet:
- Multiple Totems Support
- 20% quality on Searing Bond

STACKING BLOCK SPELL DAMAGE

Get 80% of that is very important here for defense. While we are not so much tanky and we have to alive a moment - Block Spell Damage is main point we can rely on in fight. Where to get from:
- Tempest Shield 18 lvl = 25%
- Passives in tree = 49%
- Rare Jewels = 2x 3% each

RIGHTEOUS FIRE BOOST

Massive Righteous Fire's boost for Damage is that we can't ignore (20-39% MORE, not Increased - Spell Damage, it has sick numbers). Although we need to prepare for that, cuz it burn us.



What we need for prepare:

1) Max +% fire resistance (79%):
- Just Purity of Fire with 4% is enough

2) Also we need massive Life regen (with 79% max fire res we need around 500-600 regen per sec. to mitigate effect of burning):
- Items
- Regen Life from Fire Mastery
- Regenerate 0.5% of Life per sec. for each Summoned Totem
- Sulphur Flask
- Siphoning Trap

MANA SUSTAIN

We need enough Mana pool not only for Auras, but also for resummon Totems and for using other skills (100+ of Mana left will be comfortable). So we looking for:

1) Stack much as possible Mana Reservation Efficiency of Skills (in aggregate it's 52-67 %) + mod on Shield:
- Passives in tree = 8%, 8%, 12%
- Mana Mastery = 12%
- Amulet = 5-10%
- Helmet = up to 10% on Explicit mod or up to 7% for Implicit mod or just both (together above these values they are too expensive)
- Shield = 20 or 30% (mod is: Socketed gems have 20-30% Increased Reservation Efficiency, but it's the same rule). In Shield you put all main Auras


2) Stack Mana regen:
- Regenerate 0.5% of Mana per sec. for each Summoned Totem
- Arcane Surge from Ascendancy node
- Maximum Mana and Mana Regeneration from tree and gear

MAVEN (3 min. of fight)

Every phase is just 7-12 sec., for Brain even 5 sec. (ofc I count only moments they are vulnerable). Last phase can take a bit longer. Be careful especially for Cascade of Pain, cuz it could hurt if you won't get Spell Block for that. The key is with that insane Damage you skip a lot of Memory games and Gravity Well. We have just 3x phases of Memory games (once per every of 3 phases, especially it's huge in last phase with annoying lasers) and also 3x Gravity Well (once per every of 3 phases). Literally you can fail all of these Memory games and still you have half of portals yet :)

SEARING EXARCH (30 sec. of fight)

Fight is so easy and fast. He can't even get to phase of Fires of a Thousand Suns - rarely it still can happens, when he teleporting out of Totems range, so then you have just 1x phase of that. Using Totems as shield and destroying these orbs is funny, but still they have much explosion range. Flame Dash with supports is very useful, but still it can be hard to avoid everything of these orbs. In conclusion it's free and the fastest Boss

EATER OF WORLDS (1 min. of fight)

The key is that we have just 1x Doom phase. Tentacles and Lightning Beam are deadly, but if you are running the fight isn't too hard. The best place where you can staying it's left side of arena near portal of entry to fight

ELDER (2 min. of fight)

Very easy, he has chance doing maybe 2-3 attacks, 0 or 1 dangerous mechanics, but Dot Damage can be painful. If you get to phase, where portals are spawned, it's already win. If not these portals phase - fight would be literally like 5 sec. :P

SHAPER (7-8 min. of fight)

Easy, but long fight, cuz of multiple phases, which we can't skip. Beam and Slam are hit hard, rest isn't problem. Big disadvantage is that we have 2 phases, where we have monsters like in standard maps - we don't run Determination, so it can be a bit dangerous, so be careful. If not these phases, Shaper himself would be less than 2 min.

ELDER GUARDIANS (Depends on maps mods, but it's like 20 sec. to max 1 min. each of fight)

I suggest play mapper Build and then change for Boss Killer. They are easy and not too long, but you need avoid attacks a bit

SHAPER GUARDIANS (Depends on maps mods, but it's like 20 sec. to max 1 min. each of fight, although Chimera is much longer, even 1-3 min.)

Before get to Boss I suggest play mapper Build, then change for Boss Killer. They are easy and fast, but without Determination you need be careful of their attacks. Problem is Chimera, cuz that fight has phases and it's a bit longer, also standard moobs and uniques are spawning, so that one Boss is very annoying

Leveling through the campaign is pretty simply and fun - we gonna just playing: Holy Flame Totem + Flame Wall, you can also add for that Rolling Magma yet.

Also we are playing Hierophant Ascendancy from start cause Pursuit of Faith and Ritual of Awakening are so nice boost to Damage. Get them as fast as you can.




For leveling after campaign (70-90 lvl) you need another good skill - Scorching Ray is too slow, so I suggest to take Spark Totems.

1) Core for our Build.



2) Giga boost to Damage, cuz we have a lot of Str from tree.



3) Grants immunity to Stun, it's very useful.



4) Totally not useful for us, but with Historic Jewel it transform into nice Damage (!BUT remember if you don't have that Jewel yet, pls don't pick that Keystone).

1) Better regen Life and also boost to Damage.



2) Free Damage from Auras.



3) To reach 80% of Block Spell Damage.



4) For better Mana sustain for skills.



5) Very strong defense for Bosses.



6) We need this for activated all Auras and have enough Mana pool for Summon Totems.

Our tree is close to Large Jewel Socket node, just 3 passive points, over here:



And we are playing 1 Large and 2 Medium:

Very cheap and much Damage (for 8 passive points we have 113% increased Fire Damage and 2x Jewel Socket).



Cheap and much Damage (for 4 passive points we have 67% increased Totem Damage and 1x Jewel Socket).



Very cheap and much Damage (for 4 passive points we have 60% increased Damage Over Time and 1x Jewel Socket).



In Summary for 16 passive points we got 240% increased damage and 4x Jewel Sockets, it's a bit crazy.

We are playing 2 Uniques:

1) Big Boost to Damage.



2) Very nice boost to Damage.



With that Jewel Mind Over Matter Keystone is transform into it:

1) Get Rare Jewels with % Fire Damage Over Time Multiplier and for 2x Jewels you need Chance to Block Spell Damage (3%), then rest you can look for res or attributes or whatever else.




2) Take Abyss Jewel with Implicit mod: Corrupted Blood Immune and put it to your Stygian Vise Belt.

Hierophant is the best option - more Totems, more damage, giga Life and Mana regen boost.

1) Smoother gameplay with ultra Totem Placement Speed. Also +1 to max Totem and Totem Duration are huge.



2) Amazing scaling Damage, Life and Mana regen for each Summoned Totem.



3) More defensive and a bit boost to Damage.



4) Free Arcane Surge is great and it grants also Spell Damage, so it's huge.

We are playing 4 uniques:

1) Body Armour - core to our Build. Free 7th Support, Damage and Totem Life. Downside is we got Hexes on us.



2) Ring - for mitigate Soul Mantle downside from Hexes. Also other stats are very useful, so it's great option.



3) Amu - We are maximizing Damage, so +3 to Scorching Ray is the best option.



4) Boots - just sick for Damage, we have one extra Curse on enemy

Sorching Ray is already Totem skill from Soul Mantle. Empower for additional lvl gem of Scorching Ray, rest just for max Damage

Flammability - Elemental Weakness - Automation - Vaal Molten Shell

Double Curse with -% fire res on Bosses is just ridiculous and it give a lot of Damage. Molten Shell is great defense and with Automation we don't have to worried about to recast it, but remember about cooldown time of this skill. Vaal is self-cast good for hot situation

Flame Dash - Faster Casting - Second Wind ||||| Tempest Shield / Righteous Fire / Siphoning Trap

Nice movement skill. With Faster Casting it's awesome for avoid attacks, also with Second Wind we have one more charge. Also 4th slot fill just with Tempest Shield / Righteous Fire / Siphoning Trap

Searing Bond - Multiple Totems - Inspiration - Controlled Destruction

Searing Bond has nice additional Damage and it boost our Scorching Ray Totems cuz Ascendancy. Multiple Totems for more maximum Summoned Totems and faster reaching max Totems. Controlled Destruction for max Damage, also Inspiration for another Damage and decreased cost of placement these Totems

5) Regen Boost

Siphoning Trap

Just amazing boost to Life regen, it's very helpful

2) Zealotry - another nice Damage scaling

3) Righteous Fire - sick boost to Totems Damage

4) Tempest Shield - needed for get 80% Block to Spell Damage and also grants Immunity to Shock

5) Purity of Fire - for get % max fire resistance to sustain RF boost

6) Molten Shell + Vaal Molten Shell - a bit shield is always useful

7) Vaal Purity of Fire - panic button for max % fire resistance can be helpful in dangerous moments

8) Vaal Haste - amazing for avoid attacks and for mechanics

- Get Scorching Ray 21 lvl
- Every other gems get to 20 lvl


If we are talking about quality, then:

1) Damage Setup

First is Scorching Ray for more debuff at 8th stage. Rest of gems just for increased Damage. Empower doesn't matter

2) Curse + Shield Setup

Flammability and Elemental Weakness are not worth. Molten Shell is nice, cuz more duration and Automation for less recovery rate, but it's a small difference

3) Movement Setup

Flame Dash for faster charge + Faster Casting for smoother speed of teleporting, so it's very useful on Bosses, but Second Wind recovery has small difference

4) Damage Burst Setup

First is Searing Bond, cuz more limit of that Summoned Totem, then Controller Destruction for Damage and Multiple Totems for faster placement speed. Also Inspiration is very nice, cuz less cost of Mana

5) Regen Boost Setup

Just more enemies affected, so on Boss it doesn't matter

X) Quality on Auras and Vaal skills give nothing, unless you play with someone:
- On Tempest Shield chance for Shock enemies seems very nice

2) Minor - Perfect due to we play 3x Life flasks.

In gameplay is just like typical Totem Build.

Enter to Boss arena and cast Righteous Fire boost, then spam awhile of Scorching Ray Totems to get Curses on you, then walk close to Boss. While Boss is preparing to fight, again spam Totems - you need placement 5x of Searing Bond + 4x of Scorching Ray, also throw Siphoning Trap under feet of Boss and spam Flammability + Elemental Weakness to sure it will affect enemy (don't forget for refreshing these Curses through the fight)

(!Warning for):
- Elder = cuz it practically immediately starting fight
- Eater = just 3 sec. and starting fight
* For these 2 Bosses better way can be placement Totems to middle of arena from entry of portal, before close to them and starting fight

Run and try avoid attacks - the best ways are just close to corner and edge of arena. Also spam Flammability or Elemental Weakness or both anywhere to keep max bonus from Arcane Surge on passive tree. Totems at this time will ramping up (so it right moment to use Sulphur Flask for Damage) and you will see how Life bar of Boss will be just absorbed

Remember to look at your Scorching Ray Totems. Boss can change position on arena (especially Maven doing it a few times), so after that if these Totems won't be have reach Boss you have to resummon them. If Boss is in range, don't resummon Totems. Although you can still resummon Searing Bond Totems for boost from Self-Flagellation, but be careful, cuz if you spam too much, 1x or more of Scorching Ray Totems will be dissapear

Try throwing Siphoning Trap all the time - it will be boost your regen Life. Also use often of Flame Dash, with that setup it has very fast Cast Time and also you have 4 of charges

If you die on some mechanics or when it will starting soon (like Maven Memory Game or Exarch Orbs) don't resurrect too fast, wait for ending of that and skipping, then resurrect and back to fight. In that situation if you will back to early on arena and move you practically get free dead

When phase, where Boss can't be attack is coming, still spam both Totems to keep Damage from Unique Jewel

Don't forget to cast other Vaal skills for extra stats, boost and defense

Build is very fun and just simply destined for take out Bosses. It's easy to build and easy to learn, it's just machine for killing Bosses.

Build was creating on league 3.28 where I was testing so much configurations to find enough Damage + a bit tankiness for better and safer doing Pinnacle Bosses.

Honestly I was very surprising that Build can destroying Pinnacle Bosses so fast and still can have even good and enough defense with budget cost. I'm very proud and happy of this to invent this Build and share with you guys. I hope you will be enjoy like me and it's help you for destroy Pinnacle Bosses.
