Ring of Pilfering and the Pedometer ring no longer working

I re-equipped my rings of pilfering and pedometer onto a new character and noticed they weren't working, steps are at 0 no matter how many I take, I play huntress no animal form I'm running everywhere, Pilfering no longer counting the orbs I pickup just 0's, Idk if this is known but I've seen similar reports online
