GGG, are you gonna fix the fact that life builds have 4 less gear mods than ES builds?

ES and ES hybrid builds don't need to build life. Armour and evasion builds do. Base defences mainly come from armor pieces and their prefixes. Base life comes from prefixes. Armour and evasion builds require you to give up a Helmet, chestplate, gloves and boots prefix to fit life. Meanwhile ES builds don't need to do that before you can start scaling defences.
Max life scaling should not compete with sources of base defences since it isn't comparably mandatory between armour, evasion and ES. Max life should be taken off of armour piece prefixes and moved to somewhere else where it doesn't compete with defences. This could be anything from buffing life rolls on jewelry to raising player life gain per level up as examples. Last bumped on May 12, 2026, 6:12:27 PM

I get the feeling they're playing the long game in balancing life/armour values and they will drip feed positive changes until it gets to a balanced state. I don't think they want people to feel incentivized to play on the bottom left of the tree atm.

simplified answer, Nope

" Heh. It isn't wrong to say there is a lot of obvious balance stuff that gets missed at least. |

Es hybrid … does build life just maybe doesn’t prioritize it like a full life build would
The mod should not be removed as a prefix though and placed on jewelery and buffed Sounds like a good way to break several systems Mash the clean

I dislike the fact that I have no choice but to take ES on whatever I play if I want to have a super solid defense, mixed in with Life rolls.
I could probably get away with removing Life and getting something else, but there are so many idiotic or dead stats that whenever I see a +Life roll or Max life I rejoice and go with it. |
