[0.5] Hollow Resonance and Hollow Palm Technique

Can anyone clarify, if the new Hollow Resonance Keystone from the Martial Artist Ascendancy and the existing Hollow Palm Technique Keystone will work together?

I am asking this because in the showcase the requirements for Hollow Resonance clearly state, that you need to use a 'non-talisman melee martial weapon'.



If I understand Hollow Palm Technique correctly, you can attack as though using a Quarterstaff and thus use Quarterstaff skills. But you do not actually count as wielding a Quarterstaff. You count as unarmed and you do unarmed attacks.



This brings me back to the requirement of Hollow Resonance to use a 'non-talisman melee martial weapon'. Unarmed attacks do not meet this requirement as far as I know. Therefore Hollow Resonance should not work with Hollow Palm Technique.

Please let me know if I made a mistake in my deduction.

Unarmed Attacks are (Melee) Martial Weapons. If they weren't, they wouldn't be able to use Herald skills for example (as they require any martial weapons to be used).
