Acendancy concept for Duelist POE2

I had a possible concept idea for one of the Duelist Ascendancies in POE2. What if you do a pirate themed ascendancy. You already have at least 2 unique items that are pirate themed.

Maybe a skill from the Ascendancy that would allow a broadside from off map? Increase in rarity of items could also be a node. Maybe extra gold as well? Bleed damage from swords as well? Something like Keelhaul?


Anyway, I thought this might be an interesting Ascendancy as you are incorporating boats in the Atlas Map as well. Now that I think about it, what if it had some sort of bonus to Atlas Ocean Maps?

Unfortunately sire, it appears the Duelist has been changed to "The Gladiator" so your idea (which is neat from an RPG standpoint) may need to be reworked:

bit off topic but i really hope we get an oldschool kratos/god of war type class or ascendancy, from the xbox 360 era games.
