Meta Crafting Runes

In the reveal, and subsequent Q&As, crafting runes were shown and discussed.



In the Q&A, these were described as "meta crafting runes" that could be added to gear, used to craft, and then be replaced. But the rune shown has the tag "Cannot be removed or replaced". I didn't watch every minute from every Q&A, so I was wondering if anyone knew whether this rune shown was an outlier or if the notion that meta crafting runes could be added, rolled, and replaced was incorrect?

They definitely say we can replace them in the QA, but now im not so sure.


I was confused when they showed the one that destroys sockets to create a jewel socket as it seemed to simply add an extra socket, but if it cant be removed then that makes sense as filling it is essentially destroying its use...


Couldnt find any other examples with the "cannot be removed/replaced"
